By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and the applicable Terms of Service.

- "You" or "Users" refers to individuals who access or use the Platform, including clients and independent service professionals.
- The "Platform" refers to VareFy's mobile applications, websites, and related services.

- Device and Technical Information, such as device type, operating system, browser type, IP address, app version, mobile carrier, and device identifiers.
- Location Information, including approximate or precise location data collected through your device when location permissions are enabled. This may include GPS-related information used to support features such as service verification, arrival confirmation, fraud prevention, and work session tracking.
- Usage Information, such as interactions with Platform features, pages viewed, app activity, session activity, and related diagnostic or analytics information.
- Cookies and Similar Technologies, including information collected through cookies, local storage, analytics tools, and similar technologies used to improve Platform performance and user experience.
We may also receive limited information from third-party providers that support services such as payment processing, identity verification, analytics, communications, customer support, or fraud prevention.
4. Permissions
The Platform may request access to device features such as camera, photo library, notifications, and location services in order to support features including messaging, photo uploads, arrival verification, work session tracking, and service-related notifications. You may manage certain permissions through your device settings, though disabling certain permissions may limit Platform functionality.
Certain Platform features may require the collection or processing of Sensitive Data, including precise geolocation data, identity verification information, government-issued identification documents, and verification-related biometric or facial comparison technologies provided by third-party verification providers.
Sensitive personal information, including precise geolocation data and identity verification information, is collected solely to support core Platform functionality such as identity verification, arrival confirmation, work-session verification, fraud prevention, platform security, and related operational purposes.
Such information is not sold and is not used for targeted advertising purposes.
By enabling these features or using verification-related services within the Platform, you consent to the collection, processing, and use of such information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including identity verification, fraud prevention, safety, platform integrity, and service verification.
5. Use of Personal Information
We use Personal Information for business and operational purposes, including to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Platform and related services;
- Create and manage user accounts;
- Connect clients and independent service professionals through service requests, bookings, estimates, and work orders;
- Process payments, billing, refunds, payouts, and related transaction activity through third-party payment providers;
- Support identity verification, fraud prevention, platform security, and misuse detection;
- Support Platform features such as GPS-based arrival confirmation, work session tracking, messaging, photo documentation, and related service verification tools;
- Personalize user experience and improve Platform functionality and performance;
- Communicate with you regarding account activity, bookings, work orders, support requests, updates, security notices, and administrative matters;
- Send promotional or marketing communications where permitted by law or where you choose to receive them;
- Provide customer support and assist with investigations, disputes, or reports involving Platform activity;
- Monitor usage trends, analytics, diagnostics, and system performance;
- Enforce our Terms of Service and other Platform policies; and
- Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, and integrity of VareFy, our users, and the Platform.
6. Disclosure of Personal Information
We may share Personal Information with third parties in the following situations:
- Service Providers. We may share information with vendors and service providers that help us operate, maintain, and improve the Platform and related services. These providers may support services such as payment processing, identity verification, fraud prevention, cloud hosting, communications, analytics, customer support, technical infrastructure, and security monitoring.
- Other Users. Certain information may be shared with other users as necessary to facilitate service requests, bookings, estimates, work orders, messaging, payments, dispute resolution, or related Platform activity.
- Legal Compliance and Protection. We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, court order, legal process, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, property, users, or integrity of VareFy or the Platform.
- Fraud Prevention and Investigations. We may share information where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, abuse, unauthorized activity, safety concerns, disputes, or violations of our Terms of Service or Platform policies.
- Business Transfers. We may disclose or transfer information in connection with a proposed or actual merger, acquisition, financing transaction, reorganization, sale of assets, or other business transaction involving VareFy.
VareFy does not sell Personal Information for monetary compensation in the traditional data broker sense.
However, certain limited disclosures to service providers, analytics providers, communications providers, payment processors, or verification partners may constitute "sharing" or related processing activities as defined under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act or other applicable privacy laws.
7. Retention of Personal Information
We retain Personal Information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Platform, provide services, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain platform security and integrity.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the nature of the service provided, legal requirements, fraud prevention needs, dispute resolution needs, or operational requirements related to the Platform.
When Personal Information is no longer reasonably necessary for these purposes, we may delete, de-identify, anonymize, or securely dispose of the information in accordance with applicable laws and internal business practices.
VareFy uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect Personal Information. However, no method of transmitting information over the Internet or storing electronic information can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, VareFy cannot guarantee absolute security of Personal Information.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, including the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, you may have certain rights regarding your Personal Information, including the right to:
- Confirm whether we process your Personal Information;
- Access certain Personal Information associated with your account;
- Correct inaccuracies in your Personal Information;
- Request deletion of certain Personal Information, subject to applicable legal, operational, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, safety, and compliance obligations;
- Obtain a copy of certain Personal Information in a portable and reasonably usable format where required by law;
- Opt out of certain processing activities, including targeted advertising, profiling in furtherance of decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects, or the sale of Personal Information where applicable; and
- Appeal certain decisions related to privacy requests where permitted by law.
VareFy will not discriminate or retaliate against users for exercising applicable privacy rights.
9. Communications Preferences
You may opt out of receiving promotional emails, SMS messages, or push notifications by adjusting your account settings or following the unsubscribe instructions included in those communications.
Please note that even if you opt out of promotional communications, we may still send transactional or service-related messages regarding your account, bookings, work orders, payments, security, support, or other important Platform activity.
10. Access and Updates
You may access, update, or correct certain account information through your account settings within the Platform.
11. Account Deletion and Children's Privacy
You may request deletion of your account and certain associated Personal Information. Please note that we may retain certain information where reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, maintain platform integrity, or protect the security of the Platform and its users.
The Platform is intended solely for individuals eighteen (18) years of age or older. VareFy does not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under eighteen (18). If we become aware that Personal Information from a child under eighteen has been collected, we may delete such information and take appropriate action to remove the associated account.

We may request additional information to verify your identity before processing certain requests related to Personal Information.

VareFy may update or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will become effective upon posting the revised Privacy Policy through the Platform unless otherwise stated. Your continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acknowledgment of the revised Privacy Policy.
